| The Menlo-Atherton PTA is a dynamic organization, working in close partnership with the Menlo-Atherton High School administrators and staff. Membership is open to all parents, school administrators and staff, and members of the community.
Please join us on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 8:30 am for the General Meeting. Visit the PTA Details page for the schedule, directions, parking pass, the agenda and previous meeting minutes.
The PTA provides financial support to many programs on campus. The PTA keeps parents informed about school activities, advises school staff on parents' concerns, raises funds to support educational programs, and provides volunteers for many activities that contribute to making M-A a unique and special school that supports and nurtures all students.
The PTA strives to increase communication between home and school through the biweekly eNotes newsletter, monthly mailings of the TRIVOCIS, and the annual publication of the M-A Directory.
- Mini-grants are awarded to teachers, staff and student clubs twice each year to fund special projects, books, teaching materials, equipment, and presentations.
- The PTA participates in student affairs, coordinates volunteers for the ESL tutoring program, funds student awards, and supports student scholarships and assistance funds. The PTA supports the Freshman Challenge Day in addition to other freshmen transition programs.
- The PTA supports the teachers and staff by providing volunteers for special programs, by staging various appreciation events throughout the year, and through the annual awards luncheon.
- The PTA proudly provides two parent representatives to the SDMSC (Shared Decision Making Site Council), the primary policy and decision-making body for the high school.
